EPA Orders Amendment to Terminate Certain Uses of Pesticide Product Tris Nitro

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued an order to amend the registrations of certain pesticide products, including Tris Nitro, to terminate specific uses, as requested by the registrant and accepted by the Agency, in accordance with the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). The order follows a June 23, 2010, Federal Register Notice of Receipt of Request from the registrant to voluntarily amend the product registrations to terminate or delete certain uses.
