US Coast Guard Announces Nationwide Use of High Frequency and Ultra High Frequency Active SONAR Technology

The US Coast Guard has released a Final Programmatic Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact for the nationwide use of high frequency and ultra high frequency active SONAR technology, which will support USCG missions to locate and classify submerged targets.
