Coast Guard Temporarily Suspends Bridge Regulation for Repairs at Chef Menteur Pass

The U.S. Coast Guard has temporarily suspended a regulation governing the U.S. Highway 90 bridge across Chef Menteur Pass in New Orleans, Louisiana, to facilitate repairs and maintenance. The bridge will remain closed to navigation for 18 consecutive days, with twice-daily openings during the middle 14 days of the repair period.
