Medicare Program; Accelerated Development Sessions for Accountable Care Organizations-June 20, 21, and 22, 2011

This notice announces the first of four accelerated development sessions (ADSs) that will provide executives with the opportunity to learn about core functions of an Accountable Care Organization (ACO) and ways to build their organization's capacity to succeed as an ACO. This 3-day, in-person ADS is to help new ACOs deliver better care and reduce costs. We invite all new or newly emerging ACOs to register a team of senior executives to participate.

Proposed Data Collection Submitted for Public Comment and Recommendations

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as part of its continuing effort to reduce public burden and maximize the utility of government information, invites the general public and other federal agencies the opportunity to comment on a proposed information collection, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. This notice invites comment on a proposed information collection project titled Public Health Crisis Response (PHCR) Cooperative Agreement. The Public Health Crisis Response (PHCR) Cooperative Agreement provides rapid funding to help existing public health programs respond to major public health emergencies and crises.
