FDA Requests Public Comment on Proposed Accredited Persons Inspection Program

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is seeking public input on a proposed rule that would allow manufacturers to use accredited third-party inspectors instead of FDA for quality systems regulation inspections, as authorized by the Food and Drug Administration Amendments Act of 2007.
