DOT Secretary Exercises Defense Production Act Authority to Clarify Prioritization and Allocation Procedures

The U.S. Department of Transportation's Office of the Secretary is proposing a new rule to clarify the Secretary's authority under the Defense Production Act of 1950 to prioritize and allocate resources for national defense, in compliance with the 2009 reauthorization of the act.
