PHMSA Prohibits Texting on Electronic Devices by Highway Drivers

The Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) has implemented a rule to limit the use of electronic devices by drivers of commercial motor vehicles carrying hazardous materials, in line with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's (FMCSA) 2010 regulations, aiming to reduce distracted driving-related crashes and fatalities.
