USDA Proposes Changes to Watermelon Importer Membership Requirements

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) is proposing to amend the Watermelon Research and Promotion Plan (Plan) importer membership requirements to allow more parties to qualify as importer members, in line with the National Watermelon Promotion Board's (NWPB) recommendation to eliminate the 50% import volume threshold.
