USDA to Award Grants for Nutrition Education and Obesity Prevention Programs Under SNAP

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) will implement a new rule to award grants to states for nutrition education and obesity prevention programs under the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), in accordance with the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 and the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010.
