Agricultural Marketing Service Amends Regulations for Cotton Futures Classification

The Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) is introducing an optional cotton futures classification procedure, allowing for the verification of cotton bales' quality and age parameters using Smith-Doxey data, in response to industry requests and in preparation for ICE's Cotton Resolution No. 2, set to start with the March 2014 contract month.
