FEMA Amends West Virginia Disaster Declaration for Severe Storms and Flooding
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has amended its declaration of a major disaster for West Virginia, which was initially declared on June 25, 2016, due to severe storms, flooding, landslides, and mudslides that occurred from June 22 to June 29, 2016. The amended declaration is effective as of July 6, 2016, and provides additional time for affected individuals to apply for physical and economic injury disaster loans.
