Atlantic Shark Identification Workshops and Protected Species Safe Handling, Release, and Identification Workshops

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) will host free Atlantic Shark Identification Workshops and Protected Species Safe Handling, Release, and Identification Workshops in October, November, and December of 2012. These mandatory workshops are required for certain fishermen and shark dealers to meet regulatory requirements and maintain valid permits, with additional workshops planned for 2013.
