Northeast Fisheries Administration Closes White Hake TAC Area to Prevent Overfishing

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has temporarily closed the White Hake Trimester Total Allowable Catch Area to common pool groundfish vessels, effective through December 31, 2012, to prevent the common pool fishery from exceeding its catch limits for white hake.
