NMFS Transfers Atlantic Bluefin Tuna Quota to General Category for Remainder of 2012 Fishing Year
The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is shifting 40 metric tons of Atlantic bluefin tuna quota from the Reserve category to the General category for the rest of 2012, and adjusting the daily retention limit for General category vessels to two large, medium, or giant bluefin tuna.
