U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Proposes Changes to Nuclear Material Regulations

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is proposing to amend several regulations for byproduct, source, and special nuclear material by expanding how certain nuclear material can be safely used without a license, in an effort to streamline licensing processes and reduce regulatory burdens.
