DEA Proposes Scheduling Three Synthetic Phenethylamines as Schedule I Controlled Substances

The Drug Enforcement Administration is proposing to place three synthetic phenethylamines, 25I-NBOMe, 25C-NBOMe, and 25B-NBOMe, into Schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act, subject to formal rulemaking and a hearing, in an effort to impose regulatory controls and sanctions on those who handle or manufacture these substances.
