US Pharmacopeial Convention Seeks DEA Registration as Controlled Substance Importer

The US Pharmacopeial Convention has submitted a request to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to be registered as an importer of certain basic classes of controlled substances, a move that would grant the organization permission to import these substances for use in pharmaceutical manufacturing and research.
