FDA Releases Draft Guidance for In Vitro Diagnostic Devices to Detect MRSA

The FDA has released a draft guidance document outlining recommendations for the performance characteristics of in vitro diagnostic devices to detect methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) in human specimens or bacterial growth from continuous monitoring blood culture systems.
