Establishment of Affordable Insurance Exchanges Under the Affordable Care Act
The proposed rule aims to implement Affordable Insurance Exchanges, which will provide competitive marketplaces for individuals and small employers to compare private health insurance options, enhancing competition and choice in the health insurance market, with the goal of becoming operational by January 1, 2014.
