FDA Lowers Viscosity Limit for Hydroxypropyl Cellulose, Allows Use in Dietary Supplements
The FDA is reducing the permitted viscosity of hydroxypropyl cellulose from 145 centipoises to 10 cPs and expanding its use to dietary supplements, in response to a petition from Nisso America, Inc.
