ACF Awards $5,016,218 to Seven Unaccompanied Alien Shelter Care Providers

The Administration for Children and Families (ACF) has awarded $5,016,218 in grants to seven unaccompanied alien shelter care providers to expand their services to meet the growing number of unaccompanied alien children referrals from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) through September 30, 2011. This funding will support the expansion of bed capacity to address the urgent need for placement of these children.
