FDA Replaces Non-Informative Code Names With Descriptive Identifiers on Public Database of Orphan-Drug Designations

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has updated its public database to replace non-informative code names with descriptive identifiers for products that have received orphan-drug designation, in compliance with the Orphan Drug Act's requirement for public notice.
