Draft Environmental Impact Statement and Proposed Amendment of the Washington Department of Natural Resources Habitat Conservation Plan for Forested State Trust Lands

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service plans to conduct a public scoping process to gather information for a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) related to an application by the Washington Department of Natural Resources for an amendment to their 1997 Habitat Conservation Plan (HCP) for forested State trust lands. The proposed amendment aims to replace the current interim conservation strategy for the threatened marbled murrelet with a long-term conservation strategy.
