Federal Government to Establish Procedures for Collecting Delinquent Royalties and Other Monies

The Office of Natural Resources Revenue (ONRR) is introducing new regulations to oversee the collection of overdue royalties and other payments from oil, gas, coal, and renewable energy projects on federal lands and tribal territories, building on the Debt Collection Act of 1982 and the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996.
