FMCSA Extends Compliance Date for No-Defect DVIRs for Intermodal Equipment Providers and Motor Carriers

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has extended the compliance date for drivers and motor carriers to prepare a no-defect driver-vehicle inspection report (DVIR) on intermodal equipment (IME) until June 30, 2012, to allow for further review of a petition to rescind the requirement.
