The Boeing Company to Propose New Airworthiness Directive for MD-11 and MD-11F Airplanes
The Boeing Company is proposing a new airworthiness directive to replace the rub strips of the tail fuel tank access door on its MD-11 and MD-11F airplanes to prevent potential ignition of flammable fuel vapor in the event of a lightning strike.
