FAA Superseding Airworthiness Directive for Lockheed Martin Model 382 Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is issuing a superseding airworthiness directive (AD) for Lockheed Martin's Model 382, 382B, 382E, 382F, and 382G airplanes to correct part number references, add an inspection area, and require re-accomplishment of certain actions for certain airplanes. The new directive aims to prevent potential ignition sources inside fuel tanks that could lead to a fuel tank explosion and loss of the airplane.
