Boeing Proposes Update to Airworthiness Directive for 757-200 Series Airplanes
The Boeing Company proposes to update its airworthiness directive for the Model 757-200, -200PF, and -200CB Series Airplanes, reducing the frequency of inspections and adding more detailed checks to ensure the integrity of the aircraft's bulkhead. The proposed update comes after reports of loose fasteners and cracks on these planes, with some damage occurring as few as 3,000 flight cycles after the last inspection.
