IRS Cancels Public Hearing on Proposed Taxpayer Identification Number Regulations
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has cancelled a public hearing on proposed regulations that would provide guidance for creating a new taxpayer identifying number, known as an IRS truncated taxpayer identification number (TTIN).
