US Department of Labor Proposes Revision to FMLA Spouse Definition

The US Department of Labor's Wage and Hour Division has proposed revising the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 to include all legally married spouses in its definition of 'spouse', following the US Supreme Court's ruling in United States v. Windsor that struck down a key provision of the Defense of Marriage Act.
