U.S. Navy Granted Permission to Take Marine Mammals for Training in Southern California

The U.S. Navy has been authorized by the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) to take marine mammals in the Southern California Range Complex for training and research activities from January 22, 2011, to January 21, 2012, in accordance with the Marine Mammal Protection Act and Endangered Species Act.
