NMFS Extends Public Comment Period for Proposed Threatened Status of Ringed Seal Subspecies

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is extending the public comment period for a proposed rule to list four subspecies of the ringed seal as threatened under the Endangered Species Act (ESA) until March 25, 2011, from its original deadline of February 8, 2011.
