NIST Announces Draft of Secure Hash Standard for Public Review

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has released a draft of the Secure Hash Standard (SHS), a new Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) that is intended to supersede the existing FIPS 180-3, for public review and comment.
