U.S. Navy to Issue Regulations for Marine Mammal Protection

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is issuing regulations to govern the unintentional taking of marine mammals by the U.S. Navy's Atlantic Fleet within the Gulf of Mexico Range Complex from April 2010 to April 2015, in accordance with the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA) and the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2004 (NDAA).
