NMFS Announces Submission of Amendment 2 to Highly Migratory Species Fisheries Plan for Review

The Pacific Fishery Management Council has submitted Amendment 2 to the Fishery Management Plan for U.S. West Coast Fisheries for Highly Migratory Species, which aims to modify management unit species, establish a new category of ecosystem component species, and improve the process for determining maximum sustainable yield and optimal yield.
