NMFS Proposes Threatened Status for Bearded Seal DPSs Under Endangered Species Act
The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has proposed listing the Beringia and Okhotsk Distinct Population Segments of the bearded seal as threatened under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended, and is seeking public comment on the proposal.
