NMFS Extends Exempted Fishing Permits for Monkfish Research in US Waters

The Assistant Regional Administrator for Sustainable Fisheries, Northeast Region, has approved two requests for extensions to exempted fishing permits, allowing vessels to harvest monkfish under the Monkfish Research Set-Aside Program and exemptions from the monkfish days-at-sea limit, while soliciting public comment on the proposals.
