Coast Guard to Remove Obsolete Anchorage in Narragansett Bay, Add New Offshore Anchorage

The US Coast Guard is relocating a decommissioned naval explosives anchorage in Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island, and establishing a new anchorage in Rhode Island Sound, south of Brenton Point, to accommodate vessels waiting to enter the bay.
