Coast Guard Establishes Temporary Safety Zone on Lower Mississippi River

The US Coast Guard is setting up a temporary safety zone along the Lower Mississippi River, from Mile Marker 291 to 295, to protect vessels from hazards caused by Army Corps of Engineers dredging operations, with restrictions on one-way traffic and full closures to be announced via Broadcast Notice to Mariners.
