Coast Guard Proposes Changes to Freeport Drawbridge Operation Schedule in Sacramento, CA

The US Coast Guard is proposing to adjust the operating hours of the Freeport Drawbridge over the Sacramento River, shifting from 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. to 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. during summer months, and extending the winter schedule to include October, in response to reduced drawbridge usage and staffing inefficiencies.
