CFTC to Review Malin Financial Basis Contract for Significant Price Discovery Function

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) is launching a review to determine if the Malin Financial Basis (MLN) contract, traded on the IntercontinentalExchange (ICE), fulfills a key price discovery function, as mandated by the Commodity Exchange Act and Commission Rule 36.3(c). The CFTC invites public comment on this evaluation.
