FDA Confirms Effective Date for Use of Reactive Blue 69 in Contact Lenses

The FDA is confirming the effective date of June 6, 2011, for the final rule allowing the safe use of Reactive Blue 69 in contact lenses. The rule, published in the Federal Register on May 4, 2011, amended color additive regulations.
