FDA Approves Higher Doses of Melengestrol and Monensin in Animal Feed for Heifers

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is updating its regulations to allow the use of higher doses of melengestrol acetate and monensin in animal feed for heifers raised in confinement for slaughter, following approval of a supplemental application by Ivy Laboratories, a division of Ivy Animal Health, Inc.
