The Department of Health and Human Services has published a proposed notice with a 60-day comment period, acknowledging the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities' (AAAASF) application to become a national accrediting organization for rural health clinics (RHCs) participating in Medicare and Medicaid programs.
