FDA Amends Regulations for Color Additives on Animal Food Labels

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is updating its rules to require clearer labeling of color additives used in animal food, including pet foods, in line with regulations for human food and the Nutrition Labeling and Education Act of 1990.
