Bishop Museum Completes Inventory of Human Remains, Opens Repatriation Process

The Bishop Museum in Honolulu, HI, has completed an inventory of human remains in consultation with Native Hawaiian Organizations, determining a cultural affiliation between the remains and present-day Native Hawaiian Organizations. Representatives of eligible Native Hawaiian Organizations can contact the Bishop Museum to initiate repatriation of the human remains.
