U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Announces 90-Day Finding on Desert Massasauga Petition

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has announced a 90-day finding on a petition to list the desert massasauga, a rattlesnake found in the southwestern United States, as endangered or threatened under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended, and to designate critical habitat. The agency will review the subspecies' status to determine if listing is warranted.
