OSM Announces Proposal to Continue Information Collection for Designation of Unsuitable Lands for Surface Coal Mining

The Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement (OSM) is seeking approval to continue collecting information for designating Federal lands as unsuitable for surface coal mining operations, following a previous approval by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) in 1995.
