Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Determination of Endangered Status for Arctostaphylos franciscana (Franciscan manzanita) Throughout Its Range

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has determined that the Franciscan manzanita, a plant species, meets the definition of an endangered species under the Endangered Species Act of 1973. This final rule implements federal protections for the species, and a proposed rule for critical habitat designation is also being published.
