FDIC Proposes Updates to Change in Bank Control Act Notices and Interagency Approach

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is proposing to update its procedures for change in bank control act notices, removing an exemption for acquisitions of voting securities in certain cases and seeking input on its approach to change in control notices. The FDIC aims to develop an interagency approach with the Federal Reserve and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
